About Silvia Haro-Givetz, Psy.D.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Art in psychology and a Master of Art in Health Psychology, both from the California State University, Northridge. I was awarded the Robert Rainy Award for Excellence in the Clinical Psychology Master’s program. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2009. I have trained at a wide variety of pre and post-doctoral internships including the Los Angeles Union Rescue Mission, LAC-USC County Hospital, Child and Family Center, Veterans Medical Center in Tacoma, WA., and Valley Child Guidance Clinic. My employment history includes a non-public school setting, North Los Angeles County Regional Center, and an in-patient psychiatric hospital. I started my private practice in Santa Clarita in 2019 where I currently see clients in person and via telehealth.
